A busy weekend...

I’ve been meaning to talk about the very busy weekend we had, but it kept getting put off.

On Friday we shot half of the next Nightly Grind sketch.  I was actually shooting b-roll for an “on-the-set-behind-the-scenes” episode of Local Film Talk.

We finished at 3am and I was so tired that I ran into the trunk door of my car while loading the equipment and busted up my nose.  Luckily there was no bruising, but whenever you get a cut on your face the bleeding just doesn’t stop.  When I went back in the house everyone thought I’d been shot.

On Saturday I met Scott Hackett and Scott Michaels of Bull City Homebrew to shoot bonus episodes of Das Beer show.  Each episode will be about 5-7 minutes long and discuss interesting facts about beer.  The shoot went great and we got four episodes in the can.

On Sunday we interviewed Dean Garris, creator of The Super Femmes, for Local Film Talk.  Since I was the interviewer for this episode you can get a good look at my fucked up nose.  Oh well, that’s life.  The shoot was a lot of fun, Dean was great, and I think we got enough material to turn the interview into a three-parter.

So all in all it was a crazy productive weekend.  Including the forthcoming Nightly Grind episode, we filmed nine episodes of various shows for TriangleLife.tv which is not too shabby if you ask me.

Now to put it all together.  Damn this is fun....
