This isn’t a sexy post with big announcements or updates, but some light housekeeping that might help you out if you ever try your hand at video production or web design.
First an update on my original post about adding individual titles to the top of each page on the site- it didn’t work the way I planned. The titles didn’t scale well to mobile platforms so it’s back to the drawing board.
Second, over the weekend I’d planned to post a short clip from an upcoming Yardcast episode. It was going to be a timelapse of me mowing and edging a small patch of my lawn so you could see how the technique described in the episode works in practice. Unfortunately the memory card filled up half way through and I can’t unmow my lawn, so I’ll have to wait a week to reshoot it. Pro Tip: backup, then clear your storage media before a shoot. Thank God this wasn’t a DBS or LFT shoot with four other people standing around.
It was a busy weekend so I didn’t have a chance to do much work on TLTV. This week will be focused on lining up shoots for late April and May as well as putting together a rough cut of that Yardcast episode. Right now I’m planning to get that episode online at the beginning of May. But hey, maybe I’ll get lucky and finish it early. Stay tuned!
